Delivery Methods

Standard service deliveries within the United Kingdom and Europe are made by Fedex. Packages are fully trackable on Fedex's web site

Deliveries

Deliveries are, in the great majority of cases, made on the date requested.  If a delay occurs and the parcel cannot be delivered on the requested date, the carriers guarantee to deliver it the next day. If there is nobody in to sign for the parcel a note can be left instructing the carriers to, for example, leave next door, leave in garage etc. Should the carriers not receive any instructions a card will be left informing the recipient of a telephone number to call to arrange delivery. Unless otherwise instructed, should there be nobody at the delivery address to sign for the Hamper, the carriers will, if they feel it appropriate, leave the parcel safe and card the recipient.

Returns

In the unlikely event of the goods being found to be faulty please contact Scottish Gourmet Food and we will arrange collection. Faulty or damaged goods must be reported to us within 2 days of delivery, and a refund or a replacement will be arranged with the customer.

Delivery Damage

In the event of damaged or faulty goods, customers must contact Scottish Gourmet Food in writing within 7 days of receipt. In this case Scottish Gourmet Food will, depending upon our customers' preference, arrange for the damaged product or products to be picked up by our carrier or their agents and returned to the company. Scottish Gourmet Food will only send a replacement product, upon confirmation that the damaged items have been returned. Perishable goods must have been kept refrigerated from the day of delivery.

Delivery Charges

These are automatically added to the cost of the products as part of the process of submitting an order. Customers are not asked to complete an order until they have been informed of all charges
